The Fruits de Talent competition was created by Andros to highlight the importance of learning in the culinary trades. Hard work, rigor and discipline are indispensable, but so is support between professionals and also the transmission of knowledge. This competition allows people to meet and help one another, and gives a boost to the younger generation. Those who have experienced it say it best: Watch the video from the 2021 Fruits de talent competition.
A fruity theme
Fruit is the heart and focus of this competition. All the proposed recipes must follow the same rules of naturality that are so dear to Andros and that guide the development of its own fruit ingredients.
Choose your citrus!
Following the Fruit St. Honoré and the Peach Melba of last year’s competition, make way for…citrus! The Andros Chef range with over 15 references made of lemons, oranges and other citrus fruits will be available to help stimulate the creativity of the young candidates. It’s up to them to interpret them in an individual entremet recipe; an individual restaurant-style dessert; a cake; and another confection. All of the plated desserts will be presented by the candidates at a final buffet.
