A pastry competition for students and apprentices
Entries are now open for the “Fruits de Talent” Pastry Competition by Andros Chef! Students currently studying in France and under 26 years old are eligible to apply (please read the requirements carefully). Applications can be submitted by the student, their training provider, or their university. Each school may present multiple students, but each candidate can participate in a maximum of two sessions.
Angelo Musa – Head judge of the jury

The competition is honoured to welcome Angelo Musa as Head judge of the Jury. Angelo is a true icon of French pastry, he holds the prestigious titles of Meilleur Ouvrier de France Pâtissier-Confiseur 2007 and World Pastry Champion 2003. Today, he serves as Executive Pastry Chef at the legendary Plaza Athénée in Paris and The Lana in Dubai, and is the founder of Bonbon Café Angelo Musa.
For the grand finale, Angelo Musa will lead a panel of expert judges to evaluate the 8 finalists, judges will be revealed soon—stay tuned.
Theme 2026: Spring Unveiled

This new edition celebrates spring — a season of renewal, blossoms, and flavorful fruits. Contestants will be challenged to create desserts that capture this seasonal energy, while showcasing the excellence of Andros Chef products.
Creations required for the selection
Each finalist will be tasked with preparing 3 creations around the theme:
- Boutique-style petits gâteaux: At least 3 different textures, 50% fruit minimum, including two or more Andros Chef products. Finished exclusively using a piping bag
- Bistro-inspired sharing dessert: For two people, based on a cooked fruit (Andros Chef product) Served hot, warm, or cold.
- Revisited ice cream coupe: A reinterpretation of a classic pastry dessert, must include at least one fruity garnish and two Andros Chef products minimum.
The Grand Finale: A prestigious competition
The 8 finalists will have 7 hours and 30 minutes to prepare: the 3 recipes from their application file, plus one travel cake (without chocolate), accompagnied by a descritpion explaining their inspiration.
Quantities required for the final buffet and tasting:
- 12 boutique-style petits gâteaux
- 8 bistro-inspired desserts (for 2 people)
- 10 revisited ice cream coupes
- 3 travel cakes

Creations may be enhanced with spices or infusions sourced from our partners Comptoir & Co and Le Comptoir d’Herboristerie.
